Read the signs before choosing a seat
Cafés differ in how they manage tables, ordering and collection. Look for instructions about ordering first, minimum purchases or restricted seating. A photogenic room is still someone’s working business, and a quiet corner may be reserved or unavailable.

Tell the staff whether you are staying or taking your drink away, and whether you want it hot or iced. If given a pager or receipt number, keep it until you collect your order. Ask about unfamiliar drink names rather than assuming that a name used at home describes the same recipe.
Treat laptop time as a venue-specific question
Check signs or ask before settling in for a long work session. Do not assume an available socket means there is an invitation to stay all afternoon. Keep calls and sound private, and leave walkways and neighbouring seats clear.
Follow the return point
Look for a tray or cup return area when you leave. If there is none, ask the staff. For photos, avoid capturing identifiable customers without permission and respect any no-photography signs. These small checks are more useful than memorising a universal rule for every Korean café.
